Master Gardener course

I start the Master Gardener course in August 2015. I am hardly wait;  I'm so excited!!! I know that I'll be considered an expert, but learning about gardening will never end. I'll be able to answer many questions from customers, friends, and family.

Social Media

I have Facebook personal and business accounts. which I visit several times a day. I use my personal Facebook account to chat with and keep up with my family and friends. I use my business accounts to place ads that drive traffic and sales to my website. I also have Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest accounts. I use my Blog to write gardening news, articles I've read and general activities I do in my garden.

New and Updated Website/Web Store

My old, poorly maintained website was in need of being updated and revised. My new website had to be developed from scratch. The local freelancers doing the work for me are great and I could not have found someone else to do this work for me. I'll keep everyone updated as to when the new website will be opened for business. Look for future blog posts on gardening tips and other gardening news!

Container Gardening

My passion is container gardening. If I plant perennials, I only plant one plant. With annuals, I plant several plants of one kind. I’ve learned, from experience, that the light,  moisture, and feeding differences of a plant(s) can make or break plantings in a container. I use  the best potting soil I can find. I like Miracle Gro, the best food and maintenance for my plants. I like John and Bob’s Smart Soil Solutions. Since I live in a Condo facing east with only a balcony (I get morning sun and afternoon shade), I only plant partial sun/shade plants. Member of the National Home Gardening Club

As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I belong to the National Home Gardening Club. As a member, you get the opportunity to test and keep several garden products. My favorite product tested so far is John and Bob’s Smart Soil Solutions. I use this product twice a season (at the beginning and the end) and my plants never looked healthier nor had bigger blooms!
